Dear Hon. Member of Parliament,
We are pleased to invite you to the first event of our Parliamentary Leadership for the 2030 Agenda
Webinar Series, titled COVID-19 response: Leaving No One Behind. The webinars are meant to serve as
a forum for peer-to-peer learning, mutual inspiration and exchange of best practices that can galvanize
more political action on SDGs.
The first webinar will be a discussion-focused event centered on policies and practices that can be
implemented to overcome the COVID-19 pandemic. The purpose will be to inform decision making with
the necessary scientific evidence to address the immediate challenges faced by public health systems
within a sustainable and inclusive recovery framework. In this session, we will be joined by world-
leading experts who will provide their presentations, which will be then followed by discussion with and
between members of parliament over the possible solutions that can enable a sustainable and inclusive
