Dear Colleagues,
I have the pleasure to inform you that the Grand National Assembly of Turkey will organize the next
meeting of the Committee on Economic and Financial Affairs, Social Affairs and Education of the
Parliamentary Assembly of the Union for the Mediterranean in İstanbul on 22 November 2013. You
will find herewith the draft agenda, the registration form and practical information. The hotel
reservation form will be sent as soon as possible.
Our Committee will discuss important topics for our region: “Microfinance and its role in the
Mediterranean” and “Financement of small and medium sizes enterprises".
We would like to remind you that participants should make their own travel arrangements to İstanbul
through their respective parliaments and transportation from İstanbul Airport to hotel and vice versa
will not be provided.
Simultaneous interpretation will be provided in Arabic, English, French and Turkish.
You are kindly requested to confirm your participation in the meeting by 8th

REGISTRATION & PRACTICAL INFORMATION
1. INTRODUCTION
The Grand National Assembly of Turkey will hold the meeting of the Committee on Economic and
Financial Affairs, Social Affairs and Education on 22 November 2013 in İstanbul. Information about the
hotel and the venue of the meeting will be sent as soon as possible.
2. DRAFT PROGRAM AND AGENDA
The draft agenda is attached. The draft program will be forwarded later.
3. REGISTRATION
Participants are requested to complete and return the attached registration form to the Grand
National Assembly of Turkey and PAUfM Secretariats no later than
08 November 2013 (contact details provided on form).
4. TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS AND TRANSPORTATION
Participants should make their own travel arrangements to İstanbul; transport from İstanbul Atatürk
Airport to Hotel and vice versa will not be provided.
5. HOTEL ACCOMMODATION
Information about the hotel will be sent as soon as possible.
