    Invitation til fællesmøde med Europarådets generalsekretær
    Europarådets generalsekretær, Thorbjørn Jagland er på officielt besøg i Dan-
    mark den 2. – 3. maj 2016, da Danmark overtager formandskabet for Europa-
    rådets Ministerkomité i perioden november 2017 – maj 2018. I forbindelse
    med besøget, ønsker generalsekretæren at mødes med medlemmerne af Det
    Udenrigspolitiske Nævn og Europarådets Parlamentariske Forsamling.
    Fællesmødet afholdes:
    Mandag den 2. maj 2016 kl.14.45 – 15.45 i værelse 1-009
    Emnerne for mødet vil være det danske formandskab for Ministerkomiteen
    samt verserende sager på Europarådets dagsorden.
    Til orientering mødes generalsekretæren også med Folketingets formand og
    Præsidiets øvrige medlemmer.

    MR THORBJØRN JAGLAND
    Secretary General of the
    Council of Europe
    Thorbjørn Jagland was elected Secretary General of the Council of Europe in 2009. In 2014,
    he was the first ever Secretary General to be re-elected for a second mandate. He is also a
    member of the Norwegian Nobel Committee, which awards the Nobel Peace Prize every
    year.
    Mr Jagland was born on 5 November 1950 in Drammen, Norway. He is married to Hanne
    Grotjord. They have two children.
