    Date: Monday, 10 November 2025

Join UN Women and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark for the Danish launch of the UN
report Progress on the Sustainable Development Goals: The Gender Snapshot 2025 – the annual flagship
report by UN Women and the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN DESA).
This year’s edition comes at a pivotal moment: 30 years after the adoption of the Beijing Declaration and
Platform for Action, and only five years until the 2030 deadline to achieve the Sustainable Development
Goals. It is a time to take stock of progress, confront persistent and emerging challenges, and renew our
collective commitment to gender equality, women’s empowerment, and sustainable development.
The launch will spotlight the report’s key findings and provide space for reflection on how Denmark and
global partners can accelerate progress. Read the report here.
    Speakers include:
Karen Grønlund Rogne, Director for Multilateral Cooperation and Policy, Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs
Papa Seck, Chief of Research & Data, UN Women (Moderator)

Majbrit Berlau, Secretary General, Danish Family Planning Association
