Subject: Invitation to the event "Open Source and the European Union" as part of the OFE Capital
Series
On behalf of OpenForum Europe (OFE), it is my pleasure to invite you to our event "Open Source and
the European Union," organised as part of the OFE Capital Series. The event will take place in the
afternoon of 23 October 2025 at Folketinget, Christiansborg, Landstingssal 1218, Copenhagen,
Denmark.
The OFE Capital Series takes place in the European capitals of the member states holding the
Presidency of the Council of the EU. It is a collection of high-level policy gatherings designed to
bring Brussels-level and Member State-level discussions of open source policy together, dedicated to
understanding how open source can be a tool to solve Europe's most pressing digital challenges.
We would be honoured if your members could join us and participate in the discussion and share their
insights on the role of open source and open technologies in the development of Danish and European
digital sovereignty in a global context. The event will feature a series of panels exploring the state of
open source in European and Danish policy, the role of the Danish open source community and
business ecosystem. Your attendance would be much appreciated.
