Til orientering fremsendes invitation fra det spanske EU-formandskab til det
70. COSAC-møde, der finder sted i Madrid
Søndag den 26. til tirsdag den 28. november 2023
COSAC er et samarbejdsorgan for Europaudvalgene i medlemsstaterne og
for Europa-Parlamentet. Der afholdes et COSAC-møde under hvert EU-
formandskab, dvs. to gange om året.
Invitation, program og praktisk information er vedlagt.
Tilmelding skal ske ved at sende en mail til sekretariatet, euu@ft.dk, senest
fredag den 20. oktober 2023.

Participants can pick up their badges at the welcome desk available at hall 2, main floor, Melia
Castilla Hotel on:
November 26 - from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
November 27 and 28 - from 8:30 a.m.
For security reasons, all participants are kindly requested to wear their badges visibly during
the meeting and all activities. Access to meeting venues shall be granted only to duly
accredited participants. In case of theft or loss, please let the organization know immediately.
The badges have the following colors:

Interpreters Purple
Delegations travelling with security officers must inform seguridad.congreso@congreso.es in

Delegations are kindly requested to arrange their airport transfers both on arrival and
departure.

A taxi from Madrid airport to the hotel takes approximately 20 minutes and has a fixed price of
EUR 30.
The Cortes Generales will provide transfers to the venues for social events.
Interpretation
Simultaneous interpretation shall be provided into all official languages of the European Union.

Taking the floor
Participants wishing to request the floor in the working meetings, may do so in the relevant
section of the online registration form.
Likewise, during the working sessions, participants can request the floor using the cards
provided to this end.
Working room
The Neptuno working room will be available for all participants equipped with computers with
Internet connection and printer.
Bilateral meetings
There are meeting rooms reserved for bilateral meetings. Those delegations wishing to book a
meeting room, are kindly requested to send an e-mail to spain2023eu@congreso.es indicating
the date and the time when they wish to request the bilateral meeting.
If you wish to make a reservation during the meeting, please go to the meeting Secretariat
room – La Galería Room.
Social events
On November 26, the Cortes Generales will offer a guided tour of the permanent collection of
the Museo Nacional del Prado, followed by a cocktail at the Jerónimos cloister of the museum.
On November 27, the Cortes Generales will offer a dinner at the Royal Theater of Madrid.
Please indicate any food allergy or intolerance in the registration form.
Webstreaming
The meeting can be followed live with room sound and in English through the website of the
Congress of Deputies and the website of the Spanish Presidency.
Smoke free space
All participants are informed that smoking is prohibited inside the Meliá Castilla hotel.
Medical assistance
Medical assistance will be available during the whole meeting – Retiro Room.
The national emergency number is 112.
Currency
The official currency of Spain is the Euro.
Power supply and plugs
In Spain the standard voltage is 230 V and the standard frequency 50 Hz.
