INVITATION TO SET UP A DELEGATION AT THE REYKJAVÍK GLOBAL FORUM – WOMEN LEADERS

Dear Speaker Henrik Dam Kristensen,
The Reykjavík Global Forum – Women Leaders is the preeminent venue for leading women to discuss and share ideas
and solutions on how to further advance society, as well as to positively develop the number and increase the power
of women in leadership positions. The Forum was launched in November 2018 in Reykjavík, Iceland, and has continued
as an annual event, co-hosted by Women Political Leaders (WPL) and the Parliament and Government of Iceland under
the heading Power, Together. The fifth annual Forum takes place this year on 8.-10. November 2022 in Reykjavík,
Iceland.
WPL and the Parliament of Iceland are honoured to extend an invitation to you, as a Speaker of Parliament, to set
up a delegation of two women Members of your Parliament to participate in this unique event. In addition, we
invite you to designate one women Parliamentarian to submit a 2-minute National Delegation Statement during the
Forum.
Each year, the Forum gathers leaders from around the globe, including Presidents, Parliamentarians, Prime Ministers,
and other public figures, as well as leaders from business, academia, civil society, the arts and media, and more. Please
note that the conference is conducted in English.
