Dear colleagues,
As you may know, general elections are planned to take place in Bosnia and Herzegovina
on 2 October 2022, and mid-term elections are scheduled to take place in the United States of
America on 8 November 2022. I have the intention to deploy election observation missions on
behalf of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly to observe both of these important elections. In
the near future, the International Secretariat will be distributing further information to all OSCE
PA Delegations related to these observation missions, in accordance with our OSCE PA
Election Observation Guidelines.
The International Secretariat is already in preparations for deploying these observation
missions in co-ordination with our partners in the OSCE/ODIHR and will remain in contact
with our traditional observation partners.
I am sure that we all look forward to following the work of these missions in the coming
months.
